Massage that puts more focus on joints and other areas of the body that tend to be especially problematic for expectant mothers. Prenatal massage helps open chest cavity, thereby promoting better breathing techniques, helps alleviate back pain and joint stifness, and can also aid in digestion for the mother-to-be. Later in the pregnancy, massage is performed in sideline position, with bolsters under the belly and legs for support. We understand that some circumstances are out of your control and you might have to cancel an appointment with short notice. We do ask that, if possible, you give us 24 hours notice. If not a $30 fee may be addressed to a future appointment. If you fail to show up to an appointment the whole massage fee may be assessed.
